well, i dont get the cheap part but like it doesnt really matter what slr you get as long as you get the nice lens or know how to use it..my advice is try to explore around your camera more..just keep taking photos, see whats wrong with it and try to find the solution..i went through that before and it really helps to explore on your own like know your settings, get a nice subject..dont look down on yourself too much because everybody has that stage where its just about trial and error :)
